1. What we collect
To deliver your order we collect your full name, phone number, email address, PG or hostel name and room number. We also store your order history, cart activity, payment status (not card details) and basic device information such as browser type used to keep your account secure.
2. How we use it
Your details are used to process and deliver orders, send order-status notifications, provide customer support, prevent fraud and improve the products we stock. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data.
3. Who can see it
Your name, phone number and room details are shared only with the delivery partner assigned to your order and with PGCART staff handling that order. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We disclose data otherwise only when required by law.
4. How it is protected
Accounts are protected by secure sign-in, and order and profile records are stored with row-level access rules so that a signed-in user can only read their own data. Access by staff is limited to what is needed to run deliveries and support.
5. How long we keep it
Profile and address details are kept while your account is active. Order records are retained for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
6. Your choices
You can view and edit your name, phone, email and saved delivery details from the Account page at any time, and you can turn off non-essential notifications. To request deletion of your account and personal data, contact us and we will action it within 30 days, keeping only records we must retain by law.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage only for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cart. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
